SALTO SEE RC in cooperation with the Partnership between the Council of Europe and the European Commission and the Ministry of Youth and Sport in Serbia organised a seminar on youth policy development in Belgrade 22nd - 24th of September 2008. This was a follow-up for the first Seminar on Youth Policy in South East Europe held in 12th - 15th of September 2007 in Trogir, Croatia.

Country profiles

SALTO SEE has issued a series of Country Profiles about the following countries in South East Europe: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, UNMIK Kosovo, FYRO Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.

The Contact Points in South East Europe contributed to the SALTO-YOUTH SEE RC’s work by writing a country profile.

The aim of these Country Profiles is to provide youth workers with information about the situation of young people in the respective countries. To achieve this, SALTO SEE asked experienced youth workers from each of the countries to write the content for the profiles. The profiles include general information about the countries, as well as more specific information about young people, youth organisations, youth work and youth policy in each of the countries.

SALTO SEE will not accept any responsibility for the content of the profiles. Should any information prove incorrect or outdated, please direct comments to SALTO SEE. These will then be taken into account in future editions of the Country Profiles.

Our SEE E-Newsletter contains regular up-to-date information and announcements about the Centre's activities as well as activities, funding possibilities and other projects and issues of other actors, of interest for youth co-operation in and with South East Europe.
